Activision has now broken its silence by deploying a PC patch, and by promising free DLC available in the “coming weeks”. 'Both the standalone and bundled versions of Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Gameinformer writes that the new Marvel Ultimate Alliance PC patch fixes controller mapping issues, fixes the audio, and other general improvements that will undoubtedly make a better product than what was initially launched. As an added bonus, Activision will be making both 1 and 2's DLC available on all platforms FOR FREE. Marvel: Ultimate Alliance patch fixes the disastrous PC port's most egregious issues But the original game's DLC characters are still arriving sometime 'in the coming weeks.'

The quick announcement and release of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 1 and 2 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC last week really surprised us all, and that launch definitely was far from smooth. This included not only bugs, but missing DLC for the first game, but thankfully Activision is starting to make things right.

According to Game Informer, the first patch for the game is now live for PC only, though the console versions are expected to get patches as well.

This PC patch update includes fixes for a few different problems that have arisen since launch. The first of these involves the controller mapping with the Xbox One and Xbox 360 controller buttons and triggers on PC, specifically with the A button. This also brings general fixes to the audio, including fixes for crackling sounds that were found in the port.

There have been some sort of improvements made to the player invitations in the game, though there was nothing specified on what exactly they changed. Lastly, the patch brings UI updates and fixes for desyncing issues while playing online that many were having.

Activision also confirmed that the DLC for Marvel: Ultimate Alliance that was left out will be coming completely free to Xbox One, PS4, and PC in the next few weeks, so we also have that to look forward to soon.
